Red Hill Creek Expressway, Hamilton, Ontario.(Late Fall/Winter 2003)

This job consisted of 240 posts using the Durisol noise barrier system. The job was carried out through late fall into the early-mid December. Obstacles on this job were obviously rain, extremely wet conditions, mud, and the cold weather of late November and early December.

This noise wall was built as groundwork for the future "Red Hill Creek Expressway", in Hamilton, Ontario. The Red Hill Creek Expressway will link the now present Lincoln M. Alexander Expressway to the Q.E.W. toward Niagara Falls.

Ajax, Ontario. (January, 2004)

Working in conjunction with Powell Contracting out of Toronto, this job was completed this past January. Drilling was particularly slow due to rock and debris located within the soils. Our drilling rig was able to work its way through the rubble to achieve the appropriate footing depths required for the posts in the wall.
